Nia Libut
Congratulations on your pregnancy! What a special and exciting time for you and your whānau! It is a privilege and I feel honoured to be a part of such an incredible life-changing experience. I am originally from the Philippines, but I have been in NZ for over 16 years. I am mum of two beautiful girls and I work as a core midwife in Auckland Hospital where I care for hapū women with high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with other healthcare practitioners. My special interest is promoting a normal physiological birth and will facilitate this process safely without intervention when appropriate. I take a small caseload as an LMC midwife in North Shore where I provide midwifery care throughout your pregnancy, labour & birth, and up to 4-6 weeks postnatal. Everyone’s journey is unique, which is why ultimately, my goal is to work in partnership with you, empowering you to make informed decisions regarding your care, provide a safe, holistic, evidence-based midwifery care and an overall positive birth experience.
*Nia will be on maternity leave from March 2025 and is not currently taking new bookings*
